Form of accompanying documentation

Based on Chapter III of the Council of Ministers No. 1088, dated 24.12.2020 as amended “Documentation and required form”, find detailed information on various aspects related to the accompanying documents of the application.

• The accompanying documents must not contain corrections or deletions of uncertified, according to the relevant legal provisions and their content must be clearly visible, legible and allow for the electronic image of the document to be obtained.
• The accompanying documents must be in Albanian. Together with the accompanying document in Albanian, the applicant may also submit a certified translation in a foreign language. Private acts and official documents of foreign jurisdictions must be accompanied by a certified translation in Albanian and legalized according to the laws in force and international agreements ratified by the Republic of Albania.
  List of countries whose documentation is exempt from the obligation of legalization or apostille: Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Kosovo.
• The documentation issued by the competent registration authority certifying the ownership of the persons declared as beneficial owners must be drawn up within 90 (ninety) calendar days from the date of submission of the request for the initial registration of beneficial owners.
• The documentation issued by the competent registration authority that certifies the ownership of the persons declared as beneficial owners must be drafted within 90 (ninety) calendar days from the date of submission of the request for registration of changes in the data of the beneficial owners.
