National Business Center at the Annual Conference of the European Business Registers Association (EBRA)
Milan, Italy | June 2025
The National Business Center (NBC) participated in the Second Annual Conference of the European Business Registers Association (EBRA), held in June 2025 in Milan, Italy. This important international forum brought together representatives from European business registration institutions, members of EBRA.
The focus of the EBRA Annual Conference in Milan was to address the current challenges faced by European business registrars, with discussions on the Interoperability between registries, the Use of Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity.

The organizers of the conference, the European Business Registry Association (EBRA), Unioncamere, and InfoCamere, chose Milan—Italy’s economic and financial heart—as the venue for this significant event. The core message of EBRA during the conference, themed “Building Trust: Leading the Digital Evolution to Overcome Challenges,” was: “In a fast-evolving world, trust is fundamental. Discover how to build secure and transparent systems to overcome the challenges of digital transformation.”
During the conference sessions, the Director-General of NBC, Mr. Sokol Bardhi, shared Albania’s experience regarding the digitization of processes and the enhancement of transparency for citizens and businesses, through meetings with EBRA leaders and representatives from its member countries.
The participation in this conference consolidates NBC’s commitment to keeping up with the latest European developments and incorporating best practices in public service delivery. Presence at such forums marks a significant step towards further modernizing processes and improving user experience, prioritizing transparency, efficiency, and data security.
At a time when digitization and inter-institutional collaboration are key pillars of public administration reforms, NBC’s active participation in international networks like EBRA is seen as crucial to aligning with European standards. The National Business Center will continue to invest in improving the quality of services and in creating a more favorable environment for business development in the country.
